Purpose:

To specify initial front for different independent lines

Details :

Parameter	Description
IFRON(I)	List of nodes forming the initial front for the bandwidth optimiser subprogram. This subprogram renumbers all degrees of freedom, starting with the specified nodes and scanning the model by successive neighborhood. By default IFRON(1)=1 and IFRON(I)=0 for I greater than 1 so the renumbering will be done automatically, starting with node 1. If IFRON(1)=0 there will be no renumbering.

Note

when several lines have no link between them, there's no way for the program to renumber all the defined nodes scanning the model by successive neighborhoods. Rather than creating artificial links (master/slave relationships for example) which could enlarge the bandwidth, you would better specify a front node for each line.
