Data format:

IOP PER HS IOP1 TMINLF TMAXLF TMINHF TMAXHF NS
Status :
Optional
Restriction :
Only in dynamic analysis with irregular wave spectrum.
Purpose :
To generate second order waves loads for pipe loading (if IOP1=0) or generate second wave loads through first order spectra.
Details :
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
IOP | Flag used to select the terms that shall be accounted for: - If IOP = 0: Both low and high frequency terms (wi-wj) et (wi+wj) are accounted for - If IOP = 1: Low frequency terms (wi-wj) only are accounted for - If IOP = 2: High frequency terms (wi+wj) only are accounted for |
PER | Percentage used to remove some components (removed if A(i)A(j) < perMAX(A(i).Aj) where A(i) and A(j) are the amplitudes of the components at frequncies wi and wj |
HS | Value of global Hs of the generated wave |
IOP1 | IOP1=1: second order wave is entered as first order spectra (and then use first order wave loads in a hydrodynamic database for instance) |
TMINLF | Value of minimum period for the second order low frequency spectrum (if activated by IOP flag) |
TMAXLF | Value of maximum period for the second order low frequency spectrum (if activated by IOP flag) |
TMINHF | Value of minimum period for the second order high frequency spectrum (if activated by IOP flag) |
TMAXHF | Value of maximum period for the second order high frequency spectrum (if activated by IOP flag) |
NS | Number of spectra to define the second order wave (The first order wave is defined by one spectrum. If IOP1=1, the second order wave components created by the first order spectrum are computed and ordered based on their amplitudes. Then NS low frequency spectra and NS high frequency spectra are created depending on the value of IOP. Each spectra has the same number of components as the wave frequency spectrum.) |
