2D View windows

2D View windows may be opened simultaneously with the main 3D View window. These 2D Views windows will display all active model data included in the .DSK or .DSS file.

Both zoom and pan features are available within these additional windows but they cannot be rotated so that the view will remain either XY plane or XZ plane.

To activate the 2D View windows :

  1. Select the Window menu item

  2. Select 2D Viewers item

  3. Click the desired 2D view windows to be added in the GUI as illustrated below

To close the 2D View windows : 2D View windows can be closed either by clicking the red cross at the top right corner of the window or switching the 2D view off by using the menu.

Note

The Model Browser is not displayed in the 2D View windows. Model Components must be selected from the Model Browser or by clicking them from the main 3D View window.
